...it is amazing stuff. I cannot believe I have gone my whole life using shit makeup and not knowing... My custom made prescriptives foundation is positively clumpy and dusty in comparison.

I think I bought the wrong shade though (was fake tanned and can't keep up the tan all the time)

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy it online? I have googled and boots do it but not enough shades...

Does it make skin shimmer? Have found a No 7 product that I'm very fond of which makes me shimmer/sheen now.

It is 'the best' and most natural, long lasting, dewy but not shiny foundation I've ever used. Dab on with a sponge, not with fingers and you'll use less but apply it evenly rather than slapping it on with fingers.

If you have oily skin try Dr. Brandt's Pores no More cream. Apply it after moisturizer but before foundation. You'l have peachy soft skin and no ugly pore. Great to control excess sebum production. Space NK sells it. You don't need much, 'tis costly but what the heck.

Monkeytrousers · 07/07/2008 08:41

Get it on ebay!

Monkeytrousers · 07/07/2008 08:42

You can go get the shade right at whereever and then buy the right shade on ebay - that's what I do.

Dropdeadfred · 07/07/2008 08:43

Would you recommend this for my wedding day makep? I have normal skin (not dry or greasy) which would be best?

Monkeytrousers · 07/07/2008 08:45

I don't think it matters really if you have 30+ skin. If you are over 30 go for it.

Monkeytrousers · 07/07/2008 08:46

obvioulsy, give it a try before the big day though

butwhybutwhy · 07/07/2008 08:53

As I remember, I went into the shop and sampled it first. If you ask the person behind the counter, they may give you a little pot to take home which is what I did, so I knew I had the right shade.

I have limpide and I'm sure thats the palest.

dropdeafred, definitely try it: it really is lightyears ahead of anything else I've used. I've got the wrong shade (too dark for non-fake-tan) and it STILL looks brilliant: blends in well, stays on without clumping or clogging or streaking or caking/drying... It really is 'dewy' and somehow it reflects the light brilliantly.

Worth every penny. I never ever wear foundation for everyday stuff but I have started doing so much more because it just makes me look fantastic but un-made-up IYSWIM. Going to be a very expensive habit.

i thought that about limpid !!

WilfSell · 07/07/2008 09:04

Monkeytrousers, is there a particular ebay seller you can recommend (ie who doesn't sell knock off or fake imported stuff!)

Thanks!

has anyone tried the make up for very pale skins that one of the girls from girls aloud has brought out?

I don't really do shimmery, it just looks a bit wrong on me: I just want to look better these days, not 'made up' as such...
