I Always Thought Make Up Brushes were a waste - this MAC one is fanbloodytastic!!!

I went to MAC yesterday because I needed help with make up etc.

Their eyeshadows are amazing and I bought 2 of them - a gorgeous greyish/blue called metallica (i think).

Anyway, the lady putting my make up on used a brush called a pencil brush, to get the darker eye shadow on more precisely - she kept trying to sell it to me (along with every other brush she used) and in the end I gave in an bought it. Well I've used it today and its fantastic - really helps if you are not an expert with your eyes (like me .

Apart from my blusher brush, its the best investment i made. Anyone else use one and think its brilliant?

is it to put the shadow on as a liner?

shadow mainly but she said you can use it to blend in liner - i did and its great

(though may I say that I spent lots of money on space nk slanty one for eyeliner etc, lost it a couple of times and bought a ruby and millie one for a fiver that is just as good.)

is that for using with gel eyeliner CD?

benefit do a brush, i cant remember what it is called, but it is fairly stiff, slanty and £13. you can use it for usual eyeshadow or on its side for eyeliner. it is fab!

Yes or with block eyeliner like the Laura Mercier one.

and agree about their metallicy eyeshadow tube. I have a gold/brown colour, it is gorgeous
their lipstick is the best i have ever used
and also a brush for foundation application.

i comletely looovvee my mac brushes.
the best is definitly the angled one for putting gel liner on in a perfect line.
second is the foundation brush, makes it all go on perfectly in about four seconds, and no dirty hands or wasted foundation. used to be half of it wenton my hands, and only half wehere i wanted it.
the eyeshadow brushes are lovely, as is the blusher one.
now i want a loose powder one.
