Where can I find swimming cossie to flatten tum and make something of non-existent boobs gone south?

Have always been flat chested (34AA) but underwired padded bikinis used to be OK when I had good tum. Now 1 year after childbirth there is no way I'm showing my tum on holiday! Have been looking for tankini (bikini with long top) but need one with support & padding for boobs. Any suggestions?

I think persinally with tankinis the top part can ride up from the bottoms and your flesh could creep throup the gap! IMHO swimsuit much more elegant.

try here www.figleaves.com/uk/nsf/qwiser.asp?term=shaper+Swimwear&productid=MIR-61038

over £100 for a swimming costume!

foofi · 06/07/2008 08:12

I agree with Furball - don't get a tankini. Good HOusekeeping did a 'which is the best swimming costume' piece in the August issue, and the one that came out top was a Figleaves one - and even more expensive than those I think!

Try maxcleavage.com.
I've got exactly the same problem as you and have just bought a tankini from them with extra long top and "gel" inserts. It finally gives me a figure in a swimsuit!!! It was about £60 which seemed like a fortune but to me its worth its weight in gold as I used to hate going in a pool with the children as my tummy stuck out more than my boobs!
Only problem is they don't do it in a plain colour.

Both Maxcleavage and Figleaves look great but we're off on Tuesday so I'd really like to find something in a physical rather than virtual shop - am based in London so there must be something...

I personally don't like Rigby & Peller, but if you're in London, it might be worth a trip?

used2bthin · 06/07/2008 13:21

Dogleaves ever have a sale? I really want the teal colour sontrol costume but no way can I afford £105!

used2bthin · 06/07/2008 21:26

Oh my goodness just seen my typos on the last post I meant do Figleaves ever have a sale? And control costume not sontrol

ChippyMinton · 06/07/2008 22:36

ooh there was a discount code on here recently - i'll see if i can find it for you.

ChippyMinton · 06/07/2008 22:38

Furball · 07/07/2008 07:11

used2bthin · 07/07/2008 14:13

[http://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/bhsstore/20137/108709 I have this after seeing in on LK Today]

Its fab, it has moulded cups to give support.

SandyChick · 07/07/2008 18:54

Try again....

Matalan had some tummy flattening ones the other week when I was in for £15. A few had padded cups too and matching sarongs
