Have you tried it!?!?

Let us know

Furball · 05/07/2008 21:25

lol at news 23!

Think I'd rather have wrinkles. What an earth gave her the idea in the first place? and on a regular basis?

greenelizabeth · 05/07/2008 21:30

Does she have a tray of snails on her dressing table?!

tigana · 05/07/2008 21:37

Bloody hell! I could bottle the contents of our backgarden and make my fortune!

What about slugs? Got loads of them too...

greenelizabeth · 05/07/2008 21:46

It's rained enough today, go and look for them right now!

Wassup · 05/07/2008 21:46

yes, I was just thinking that about the slugs tigana. My house might be worth a fortune after all!

I've seen a face cream advertised on some shopping channel that actually contains snail slime - no joke! Dh and I were when we saw it.

foxythesnowfox · 05/07/2008 21:57

this was tested on a show - Gok I think it was. Turned out to be bollocks.

Which, I think, is a good thing

GentleOtter · 05/07/2008 21:58

I've kissed a few toads.....
Sorry, snail slime is too much like snotters.

lackaDAISYcal · 05/07/2008 22:02

cadelaide · 05/07/2008 22:09

Snails and slugs make me retch.

Elicina cream from JML

We had the JML channel for a while (no idea why!)

Amphibimum · 06/07/2008 00:00

ok that ad was rather convincing. i think its time to go to bed !

beautyscientist · 06/07/2008 08:08

This came up on Beauty Swap Shop about a year ago. www.beautyswapshop.co.uk/Forum/tabid/54/forumid/10/threadid/4151/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I have also spoken to the company who makes it at a trade fair. I am not sure that it is doing that well. It is worth remembering that revulsion for snails isn't universal. The French regard them as a tasty snack for instance.

We have a giant African Land Snail and I have to say after holding it my hands do feel very smooth. I've not gone as far as sliming up my wrinkles though!
