I knowingly wore wedges once. In 1997. I fell off them (while pissed) and broke my ankle. NEVER AGAIN.

MrsMattie · 04/07/2008 13:15

You're not alone. They look vuile on me. I'm too tall and 'shapely' , plus I always feel like I'm going to break an ankle in them.

Fimbo · 04/07/2008 13:16

I don't like skyscraper ones. I have a low heeled pair.

SheherazadetheGoat · 04/07/2008 13:18

thumbs nose @ malory.

i just think they look ugly in the shop so am never tempted to wear them. look nice on other people though.

I agree with Sheheraz, they look nice on other people. They look ridiculous on anyone vaguely over 5 ft 6.

WilllamGray · 04/07/2008 13:21

I heart my wedges

They are the only heeled shoes I can walk in without looking like something out of Monty Python's silly walks sketch

V comfy when you're on your feet all day

i am 5 8 and would look like a frumpy tranny

Ditto william gray exactly.

I'm short and I need wedges just to feel normal. Same as rubyrioja on the other thread needs a rigby&peller bra to feel normal. No boobs, no bra. NOT TALL? Need wedges.. Amen.

greenelizabeth · 04/07/2008 14:39

No expensive bra I mean
