My natural colour is med/dark brown and I have medium/ sallow skin tones with hazel brown eyes and dark eyebrows and lashes.
I have been going grey since I was about 16. I have been colouring my hair to cover this up since my mid twenties first at home but now in the ahirdressers. I have been trying to colour it to match my original colouring.
My hair is now very grey and my roots now show almost 100 % white on my parting and this starts to show through after about 10 days after my colour.
This is very noticable against the brown and I usually touch up the roots myself between visits to the hairdressers.
The grey roots are also getting very resistant to the colourant, I had to have it redone the last time I was in the hairdressers however underneath its still naturally quite dark at the back and underneath. I also find that where it is grey it tends to fade in the sun and go a peculiar colour.
What can I do. I dont want to let it all grow out as I would be totally grey / white and think this would be ageing.
I dont think I can go blonde as my natuaral skin/ eye colouring isn't very fair.
Any ideas please
