I'm sorry, I absolutely know that I am a pain and that I have been looking for shoes for this dress for days but do you think that these shoes would work with this dress

These shoes work

DirtySexyMummy · 03/07/2008 22:12

Not really, no. They could, if you accessorised the dress with a brown belt and some wooden accessories, chunky wooden bangles, maybe one green one in the middle.

I don't really like the dress though, sorry. I think you could get a very similar style for half the price, and nicer too.

Cheap designer stuff is never very good.

lisalisa · 03/07/2008 22:12

IMO - not really. They're too heavy and chunky and would "overpower" the dress. I woudl go for suede and the same green as the dress but same style as the one's you linked to but maybe more trad wedge shaep. There now - that's going to be an easy search isn't it?

fishie · 03/07/2008 22:12

yes but gosh they are high.

ChanJackieTylerNo · 03/07/2008 22:13

Stargazing - they look very similar to the ones the model is wearing in one of the other pics of the dress, so I'd say yes.

fishie · 03/07/2008 22:13

i think the straps of dress are too small, are you tiny?

hellymelly · 03/07/2008 22:14

Yes I too think strappy wedges would be better .

Stargazing · 03/07/2008 22:18

fishie - what do you mean about the straps?

have you got this dress (sorry missed earlier threads)? what bra? how will ruffles work with bosom or are you slight?

Stargazing · 03/07/2008 22:24

yes, have got the dress. I wouldn't have thought that I was particularly slight - am 5'10" and just over 10 stone - but a typical pear, very small up top. Think the sizing runs large as I ended up fitting an XS!!! Don't need a bra, really. But wearing one is fine, doesn't show.
