Bras... different makes/different sizes?

Having been measured PROPERLY for a bra today (won't go into the Bravissimo fiasco), I have discovered that I am a size 32J!! I bought one bra from Fantasie in this size, but as they're quite pricy I had a look on ebay when I got home. Thing is, there are lovely bras by Panache and Freya, but I don't know how they'd compare. does anyone know if they're much the same? Thanks.

by the way, M&S measured me as a 38E, and Bravissimo as a 34G. No wonder my bras have always been uncomfortable!

Freya doesn't support in the same way as fantasie imo. Triumph sizes and support is similar to fantasie.

I find Freya and Fantasie both cut big. I am a D in Triumph but only a C (if they made them) in Freya and Fantasie.

The French brands are the opposite and cut small - I am a DD in Lejaby.

Thanks for that Tutti - won't be buying any Triumphs until I've tried one (if they make them that big!) Actually I can't believe that even the Katie Price range doesn't do my size - my norks are nowhere near as massive as hers!! Anyone know about Panache?

I think it definitely better to go and try in person as I find the fit is really different from bra to bra - shape as well as size! I have a problem with a lot of bras gaping under the arm as I'm fuller round the front than at the side. Panache Balconette style are best on me but I would never buy without trying as I've had some bras that have been a terrible fit even in the same size.
