I just want to rave about sheercover foundation! (Something I found on a shopping channel!)

I got into watching allot of shopping channels whilst bed bound during pregnancy sooo addictive. Anywhoo i came across this advert for sheercover and it looked great. Although i still had allot of my foundation left so couldn't really justify buying it.

Now i'm a mum of a (non-sleeping through) 7 month old. I noticed that i had dark circles from months of broken sleep. I have a dark skintone as i'm mixed raced and found it impossible to find a decent concealer. They were all too orange, too pink or chalky.

Then i came across the sheercover advertisement again and decided to order it just to try it as it came with a concealer and foundation and you could mix your own shade! Besides the offer sounded good free brushes, mascara concealer, moisturiser etc! For £30.

It arrived today and i have to say its fab its really light as its a mineral foundation! Luckily i have good skin anyway but now it looks glowing and even in tone.

Only down points are that it took three weeks to arrive. I called after two and they appoligized, explained that they had run out of my shade but it was due in that week.

Also if you do decide to order it i would cancel the standing delivery (within 14 days of receiving the product i think), think its every couple of months and maybe ask for another load (if you like it) every 4/6 months instead depending on how much you use. Plus if you hate it you can send it back within 30 days and get your money back minus p&P.

Well thats all. Just thought i had to tell people cos it is lovely!

I use sheercover too. I have used it for about 2 years and I think it is pretty good although now I am getting older it does show up my lines.

oh bliss. I have been watching this on sky since forever and have never ordered..I have used mineral in the past so maye I should just go for it. The one I use now is ok for evening but bit too airbrushed for daytime..is S>C the same?

yes it is pretty air brush for the day. But you can mix it with your moisturiser, (or one that comes in the initial pack) So it's more of a tinted moisturiser as apposed to full on foundation coverage. I think this is a better 'fresher' look for summer.

I'm still getting used to it as i've never really worn that much foundation because i find it so hard to match with my skintone. So it's pretty odd seeing myself with a completely even one toneish face IYSWIM.

I think the good thing is that if you dont like it just send it back, also if the colours are the wrong ones they'll swap them till you find the ones that match for you!
