This is completely hideous, isn't it.

I know it is.

I can't find what I want anywhere. I'm getting desparate.

All I want is a mostly brown, slightly floaty, not see-through, printed blouse that isn't too short. Is that one really too horrid?

I think it's quite nice actually. In a Per Una sort of a way that is.

traceybath · 02/07/2008 22:47

Not really my cup of tea. Whats it to go with?

greenelizabeth · 02/07/2008 22:48

Welllll.........It is what you're looking for, but it's not something that will make heads swivel on shoulders for a second look.

Anything from Per Una is completely hideous. Always. Repeat after me. Per Una is shite.

Kew and Monsoon are acceptable if you like that kind of thing. But I can tell you now, you will never find anything nice in PU.

Go to Kew. Or Limited Collection in M&S.

PeaMcLean · 02/07/2008 22:50

Hideous. You know it.

hf128219 · 02/07/2008 22:50

Agree re Limited Collection. Best thing on the High Street.

Why do you want a brown, printed blouse????

pootleflump · 02/07/2008 22:50

Worse than hideous.

BroccoliSpears · 02/07/2008 22:51

I'm not convinced it would be long enough anyway. It's the scalloped bottom hem that frightens me.

OP posts:
moondog · 02/07/2008 22:52

Minging.
Sort of thing worn by overweight women with back hamsters and bingo wings in village fetes.
Steer clear.

BroccoliSpears · 02/07/2008 22:52

Doesn't everyone want a brown printed blouse?

OP posts:
Fimbo · 02/07/2008 22:52

Its awful sorry. Give us more and we might be able to help you look

PeaMcLean · 02/07/2008 22:53

Only the hem?

Does it need to be a flowery pattern?

greenelizabeth · 02/07/2008 22:53

oh blimey moondog you made me larf pet. back hamsters. ha ha.

BroccoliSpears · 02/07/2008 22:53

Maybe I am an overweight woman with back hamsters and bingo wings. Maybe I want it to wear to our village fete.

Aefondkiss · 02/07/2008 22:53

It doesn't need to be flowery, but I don't usually like geometric patterns.

I have a vision of a dark brown, ditsy print blouse in some flattering, drapey material.

OP posts:
Aefondkiss · 02/07/2008 22:56

pretty not clingy but still fitted

wessexgirl · 02/07/2008 22:58

Any good?

BroccoliSpears · 02/07/2008 22:58

Thank you for links!

Aefondkiss - nice but have far too much blue in wardrobe already.

traceybath - Really wish it didn't have red spots.

notjustmom - yes, too shirty.

OP posts:
moondog · 02/07/2008 22:58

You want something sort of chiffony with little Peter Pan colour. I can see it in my mind's eye.

hf128219 · 02/07/2008 22:58

Are you planning to wear it with brown leggings?

moondog · 02/07/2008 22:59
