Shape wear

I am a size 16. Have lost over 9 stone (more to lose) and am really enjoying wearing clothes that I like as opposed to clothes that go up to my size. I have a couple of Hobb dresses that fit but show up lumps and bumps from my stomach and thighs, the cut is such that I think I could go up 2 sizes and I would still have the same problem. Is there any comfortable shape wear out there that could help smoothing them out? I am assuming that I'd need high waisted shorts, is that right? I'm currently being inundated with adverts for shapermint, but have absolutely no idea whether they are a good brand.

Any suggestions welcome!

Your nearest Selfridges should have a selection, though probably not everything. If you’d rather pay less then compare and contrast with similar items from M&S or Primark.
