Swim costume when between sizes

Im a size 16 top, wear a 34g bra. I am a size 12 bottom. Its hard to find a swimming costume that isnt necessarily a bikini, which is the obvious solution, but will cover and hold my chest but not tent around my bottom (tried so many swim costumes on, but all the same issue).

What sort of swimming costume? For lazing by the pool or for swimming? I can't help the former, but for the latter, both Decathlon and Funkita do good sports costumes for bigger busts depending on your price range

For swimming preferably. Decathlon have used in past, but need more secure bust, and dont do cup size. Thanks.

Have you tried wearing a (cheap) sports bra underneath? Most of my team mates do because it gives more support than a racing costume can. Costumes with support aren't normally very hydrodynamic! The bras disintegrate fairly quickly though.

We didn’t use them but when I was helping my then teenaged daughter find swimwear I looked at Bravissimo - they do cup sized swimwear including I think tankinis which can be bought as tops and bottoms to fit.

What about a tankini? I have a couple that look like a one piece and are so much easier for going for wee in.

Have you tried Prism 2? Everything they make can be worn for swimming, yoga, loungewear or underwear - and the crucial thing is that each piece stretches to fit size 8-16. It’s hard to explain but the material is incredibly supportive but also comfortable. The bonus is that the styles are simple and contemporary. Scroll through all photos - though they can’t show the brilliance of the fabric. (No connection to them at all - I just keep buying pieces in the sale.)

Link is to one piece costumes but they do excellent separates as well so you can mix and match a bikini.

PRISM² Bodies

Our supportive and sculpting PRISM² bodies can be paired for daily wear or worn as swimwear, activewear and underwear. Sweat-wicking, quick-dry and Chlorine-resistant with a unique compression fit.

Have you looked on Brastop?

I am 32H and wear 14/16 tops and am size 12 bottom half, and this one fits me nicely and is very supportive on the bust
