Brunette / greys root cover up solution with shine that isn't a faff??

Hi, my hair appointment has been delayed quite a bit and I usually use colour wow or loreal spray in a pinch but am finding wow to be dusty and matte for covering an inch regrowth so looks obvious against shine of my hair, and loreal is ok but accuracy not great. Have figured out how to push hair slightly at base towards the spray direction to avoid staining skin on my parting but it easily gets on hands and face which is a faff to then wash off increasing application time alot.

I use davines chocolate conditioner in run up to regular appointment for all over colour boost to combat fading but that doesn't address the roots. Colour wow also takes an age to do anything other than tiny areas due to small brush.

Any quick job solutions for fast coverage that don't look matte and dusty? Am mid divorce with 4yo hence keen on products that don't take an hour to apply my time is quite tight atm!!

Thank you!! Xxx

I’ve not used myself but Susannah Constantine uses prime prometics instant coverage hairline powder that looks good

Josh Wood Blending Brush

I use this on wet hair, brush on to cover roots, brush through with hair brush, blow dry. I think it works really well for in between colouring hair.
