Trouser suits for the short of waist and large of bust

I love a smart trouser suit to wear for my part time role which requires me to be smartly dressed. However, finding something where both the jacket and trousers fit me well is a nightmare.

I'm 5'4 and size 10 in most trousers. I think I'm a sort of apple/hourglass (flat bottom, slimish legs). However the biggest challenge is a smart jacket or blazer - I've a shortish torso and a 32G bust.

Does anyone have any suggestions for brands that are well cut for these proportions? I've tried a few petite ranges but they can feel a bit 'off' fit wise.

I'm a similar height (though more hourglass) and love Armani - I buy on eBay or Vinted

@CordeliaNaismithVorkosigan I wouldn’t even have thought of looking at such a high end brand, although interesting to think about eBay/vinted.

To be honest, my ‘awkward’ shape means I’m reluctant to order from anywhere I won’t be able to return when it inevitably doesn’t fit!

I have a similar body shape and I also struggle with this - particularly as I also have quite narrow shoulders. I have had some success with slightly cropped, collarless jackets, worn open. In the past I have found decent jackets at Reiss and Theory, but they are always cut quite long, which is not especially flattering on me. Hopefully others will have suggestions!

I’m similar and I’ve focused on getting the fit right for the jacket. Trousers are easier to tailor, as are jacket sleeves.
