Please help, best way to cover these lines under my eyes? I think they’re aging me. I’m 46. In these pics I’m wearing makeup and eye cream. Obviously not helping. First one I’m not smiling, second one I am

Botox

At 48 you are going to have some lines. Sorry.

From the little we can see of your face, I think it looks nice.

ToysRus56 · 25/10/2026 17:03

All I see is beautiful coloured eyes, lovely brows and nice hair colour. I have lines and I just try not to mind too much!

WestwardHo1 · 25/10/2026 17:03

Sorry, 46!

Botox

I can’t afford it but I’ve heard that it can not be good under eyes anyway

I think your doing well for your age, as someone in the business of aesthetics I’ve yet to find anything that helps, including Botox, fine filler, etc. needling helps slightly and that can be done yourself.

Charlenedickens · 25/10/2026 21:22

I’d not advise Botox under your eyes, I don’t think there is much to be done , using some blurring reflecting concealer and a damp beauty blender, have a light touch,

YouLittleWally · 26/10/2026 02:29

have you got any concealer recommendations @Charlenedickens

SaraHoliday · 26/10/2026 06:12

It's just 'normal' under eye lines isn't it?

I know you have said you are wearing make-up in the photo - does that include a brightening concealer under your eye?

RunningJo · 26/10/2026 06:45

OP, some lines you can’t do much about, these are very minimal, but I do appreciate when it’s something you notice it’s hard to see anything but. Perhaps under eye creams may help a little, or a good concealer as a PP suggested, but honestly they’re barely visible xx

@YouLittleWally Is there a needling pen you’d recommend to use at home - sorry to jump on your post OP but I’ve been looking at micro needling and no idea which one is best.

thanks

I use both Charlotte tilbury which is more reflective and also Victoria Beckham which I’d say is smoother, the trick is to ensure it’s fully blended in.

SteveTheHair · 26/10/2026 07:23

No I’m not wearing concealer, maybe that’s what is needed?

You’re 46 (same age as me), and look great - wrinkles are going to happen whether we like it or not. You have good skin and nice eyes and I’d honestly just try to accept the lines.

Sunbringer · 26/10/2026 08:41

You’re 46… you’re going to have some lines unless you get them frozen with Botox.
