Changing robes - Aka Dry Robe dupes

I have some from Aldi but they are quite heavy. Having never even picked up a genuine Dry Robe Im wondering if part of the plus points of them, apart from having a brand, is that they are light, is that right?

Has anyone got a good dupe that is also lightweight?

Once Ive put it on over my wetsuit, and the thing gets wet its quite heavy. However I suffer really really badly with the cold and need something that is really warm, I cant have half measures. Today for example, nice and clear sky but incredibly windy so my Aldi dupe will be thrown on over my wet things, I will run to the car and drive home but when I get home the heavy dupe needs hanging up and its heavy, also heavy for me to put in my bag when I need to do that.

I have a Dryrobe and it dries out really quickly. I don’t find it too heavy though it’s bulky. My friend has a Regatta and she rates those - they are a bit cheaper than Dryrobe and that often have a sale on.

I mean Im not even looking to pay those prices, I need something dirt cheap, the Aldi ones are 30 quid

Cornwall Swim Company. It is bulky but it dries out well, I use it for after sea swims most days and walking the dogs and it keeps me toasty warm. I paid about £120 for mine a few years ago.
