Am a size 10, pear shaped so look best in 50's style - fitted to the waist and knee length.

Seen any around?

Max budget £50 (tight I know)

Merci beacoup.

Oh, I have the perfect dress for you!

It is very 1950's garden party, need Pimm, silk type material, swirls in a circle when you twirl, fits to the waist with a tie belt same colour, in a bow at the side - ins khaki/green garden colours, very soft, hard to describe, flowers pattern - I was going to offer you to borrow it, but its a size 8! I have worn it once to a cheese and wine party that I held, and once for dinner, thats it (obviously cleaned after!!)

you need to get smartish to the Laura Ashley sale on right now and take a look. I got it last year unfortunately, last one left £50 exactly - reduced from £100.

Oh it sounsd devine.

How do LA sizes come up? I can sometimes fit in an 8, esp if not fitted on the hips. My top half and waist is small.

I will go to LA tomorrow.

Have you looked at the Coast sale online?

this is unusual

a bit over budget but this is stunning

yummy

DrNortherner - I am quite happy to lend it, but realistically its prob too small.

I am 8, going on 10. Always been 8, creeped up to 10 for the odd thing now.

And its tight round the underarms/bust, and I am small armed. It is not tight on hips, it flows from the waist.

Where are you? When you need it for. i would not always offer, but this is just so perfect for you.

When I wore it, I felt, sort of desperate housewives, you know, cooking tea in expensive lovely 50's dress, I felt very elegent, and needed a jukebox!
