Wide leg jeans and what shoes?

what shoes are people wearing now it’s getting colder and wetter? I need to invest in some trainers or boots but not sure what looks good. I find jeans and boots a bit cringy and they remind me of my mum in the 90s but maybe this is the fashion now? Maybe I need to embrace them.

Cringy? Are you a millennial by any chance? 😁 just asking as I see my Gen Z and Gen X wearing boots happily but the millennial colleagues still in skinnies and trainers 😁

stompy boots might be okay if you don’t want to wear trainers (I just wear trainers with my wide leg jeans but never really have to walk any great distance in the rain wearing them).
by stompy boots I’m not sure what I meant, maybe clumpy chunky ones?!

@DrumsPleaseFabyes absolutely. Although I don’t wear skinnies anymore. I love the wide leg but the boots make me feel old. I think I need to get over it!
