Short skinny people. Where do you buy clothes?

DD is 25 and absolutely tiny. She's around a uk size 2-4 and 5ft 2
I want to get her some cozy pyjamas but everything I can find starts at a size 6 which absolutely drowns her. Any nice shops that sell super small sizes?

Try kids section. they have gorgeous things, particularly M&S and Zara 😊

I thought about that but I don't know what size to buy.
I know she sometimes buys kids sizes and trys stuff on if she's shopping for herself, but she says sizes vary quite a lot. And she doesn't live near me so we can't go shopping together.

Asda age 13/14 that’s type of thing. H&M can run a little smaller that supermarkets, so age 15

DD is the same proportions and for nightwear we go between M&S 13/14yrs and Primark XXS - she especially likes Primark boyfriend style pyjamas.

Boohoo sell size 4

I’m 5ft 1 and 8-10 and I buy 13/14 so I’d probably go 11/12 x

DD is 5’2’’ and 11/12 are too short. She definitely needs the 13/14 for length and likes the slim fit ones like these.

I'm the same size. M&S children's section is usually my first stop for PJs. I've also bought a lot of clothes from the likes of Zara and H&M, even Tesco sell great children's PJs that fit well.

anotherdaytogo · 22/10/2026 10:27

Hollister size XXS

Eudaimonia11 · 22/10/2026 10:32

I shop in M&S kids section. I’ve just bought a jumper size 13-14 years and it fits comfortably but the sleeves are a little bit too long. I’m 5ft 3in and a size 8 in adult clothes if that helps.

DataColour · 22/10/2026 11:23

DD is 5 4' and a size 4 and she does alright with Primark, Hollister, H&M, all XXS. She also finds lots of choice in Urban Outfitters for her size (especially the 90s inspired stuff!).

LaurieFairyCake · 22/10/2026 12:30

I’m exactly the OP’s daughter’s size but shorter, so wear 10-11 or 11-12 in kids pyjamas. Cyberjammies are perfect for me, kids pyjamas exactly same prints and style as adult ones.

bananaapplepears · 22/10/2026 12:37

I'm 5ft 4 and size 8 and wear M&S kids age 13-14 so I'd go smaller for your daughter.

Tinyowl · 22/10/2026 13:05

I'm another one who's 5ft1 size 8-10 and wears 13-14 in M&S so I think she'd need smaller.

H&M kids run smaller but the inseams are longer so may be too long. Next kids is also worth a look, similar to M&S sizing.

Could you ask her for her bust, waist, hip and inseam measurements so you can check the size charts?

Asda do size 4-6 and my DD likes their PJs as they’re a bit baggy in the leg but cuffed so not massive
