All socks in shops seem to have polyester etc which are making my feet (& therefore me) very hot.
Can anyone recommend some light, breathable, non sweaty socks please? Would mainly like low, trainer type ones if poss.
thankyou!!

You need bamboo socks - they’re a complete game-changer. Very soft and breathable. I used to get horrible sweaty feet until I started wearing them. I get mine online from Sockshop, but I’ve seen them in T K Maxx too.

Sock shop bamboo ones. They’re like silk on the feet.

Wool socks are also not sweaty, which feels likes it’s the wrong way round as they are toasty on your feet. But not sweaty.

Merino if you can find them.

I find bamboo socks shrink and lose all their stretch very quickly. Cotton or wool are better for me. Also: it might be your shoes rather than your socks. If you're wearing crocs all day that'll make more of a difference.

I'm sat here in a pair of bright red bamboo socks (100%) from sockshop. They are fab. Wash well, don't shrink, wash well, hold their shape, feet don't get hot or sweaty and I have them in lots of colours. Don't wear any other socks now.
