Tall almost 6ft, size 20 had a good clear out and could do with some suggestions of go to brands for the following items or even better some links. Late 50’s and soon to be retired so don’t need any workwear items.

Could with a couple of pairs of versatile trousers with pockets in a neutral shade at least 33 inches.

Some dress up dress down plain versatile long sleeved tops for every day.

A couple of shirts blouses for going out for a nice meal, shopping, date night.

A 3/4 length non itchy dressing gown not overly warm and without a hood.

PJ bottoms long enough uncuffed variety and a couple of long sleeved tops more for lounging around the house on a winter night.

A slouchy brown or tan bag and versatile comfortable low heeled or flat boots to tone in with a bag.

Next have clothes for tall people just filter in body fit. Long Tall Sally worth a look.
Look at TK Maxx for bags or BrandAlley.

Long tall sally I think is available on the Yours app
that’s where I have seen it
haven’t got trousers but got there long sleeve tops with a good lenghth body as I don’t like them riding up and having cold back

I'm the same size but about 168cm (5ft6). I bought 2 tops from Yours for the first time in the summer. I can't find them now to link them, but they were both very long on me. Half way down my thighs and more like a tunic top. I actually bought them via the Matalan site, but from memory, returning them was harder or maybe costlier than if I'd bought them direct from yours. It might be a brand to try for tops at least.

M&S trousers seem to be hit and miss with length. I recently though a regular length, but they were SO long they were dragging behind and I'd need 6inch heels to get them off the floor! Maybe they were labelled wrong, but M&S do sell longer length trousers.

Next do extra long and extra extra long leg lengths online.. the actual length seems to vary a bit with the particular style though.. wash pretty well and keep their shape. Usually a lot of these 'new with labels' on vinted.. just have to check close ups of size labels! I found white stuff shirts , the ones with the button up sleeve option, seem to be a really good length also...
Wouldnt touch LTS.. quality has gone downhill dramatically over the past few years, awful fabrics.

Plenty more choice than ever before tbh. Even Supermarkets do longer lengths for some items so don’t rule them out each season (Morrisons casual trousers can actually be ok!)
SeaSalt, FatFace are also really good, inc FF jumpsuits.

John Lewis sale is also worth a check; I forensically search the app every few weeks to see what’s available. Just filter on Clearance then Size & Tall (etc) and for absolute bargains sort by % Discount 😁 This method has introduced me to a few brands that I wouldn’t have come across otherwise.

And of course, Next - the saviour of us larger taller women! Jeans are especially good, also smarter trousers if you need them.

Enjoy your shopping!

Thanks my DH also tall surprise surprise has recently identified a few brands that cater for him well. Although very expensive Fjalraven or however you spell it, Rohan and I can’t remember the other brands (he more than gets his wear out of them, he has far less clothes than me, they wash well, look great, easy for getting dressed every day and packing for holidays and weekends away. So apart from alternating between occasionally wearing an over-shirt in spring/summer over his t shirts and a couple of expensive jumpers in winter he largely wears the same clothes all year round and he can mix and match most things.

I am envious I have a lot of cheaper crap (of varying sizes and states of wear) which I have collected over the years from Fatface, Seasalt, old Long Tall Sally, Next, John Lewis, Monsoon and Sainsburys. I am going to give some charity and try and sell some on Vinted. But I am jealous of DH. I look at ElevenLoves lots of items mix and match but the models are on average a size 10 and no more than 5ft 8. But I would love to have more wearable clothes that I can mix and match and go anywhere in like DH.

I found New Look on line alright - I’m 5’10 and size 18/20 (big belly & boobs) & min 33 leg & 45 yrs old.
i liked the Hallie high waisted skinny jeans, but should have sized down. Next is quite good, but the tall stuff can be hard to find instore.
LTS quality isn’t what it used to be at all sadly

I should said I wanted to replace some of my clothing items with some more upmarket, timeless, quality clothing to replace some items of warn, tatty, items that no longer fit before I take early retirement but I am very much still fun and young at heart.

Tu at Sainsbury's seems to be cut for taller bodies, and the sizing is generous.
