Belt over blazer - does anyone style like this?

I have done this today, and it does looks smart, black and navy micro check single breasted blazer over black sparkle vest, navy flared jeans full length and black leather ankle boots. Black trousers belt with silver buckle. Looks just like on Instagram influencers but feels like coz play. Or is it just novelty?

None of my tailored jackets feel at all wearable right now, but I agree it’s a cute look.

I went out cos-playing Puss in Boots yesterday - tweed trousers tucked into knee high shiny black boots. It’s not something I’ve done for decades - but the time suddenly seemed right.
