Wedding guest, fascinator ? Hair ?

Going to a wedding in a couple of weeks. Not been to an all day one for about 15 years!
My dress is a lilac chiffon sleeveless dress. With a sparkly ivory pink strappy shoes and bag.
I did buy a small feather and hessian fascinator clip the same colour as my shoes but not sure if people still wear them to weddings ?
I'm currently growing out a pixie and am at the chin length bob stage so not sure about the hair either !

I'm not a fan of fascinators. I feel they are a bit ageing.

@8misskitty8

Is it a church wedding followed by a reception in a hotel, OP?

Its in a converted church for the ceremony (pews have been removed ) and then the meal and evening reception afterwards is there as well.

Apparently they may be coming back but in the last 3 weddings I went to between 2021 and 2023, the only people wearing hats or any noticeable fascinators were mothers or grandmothers of the bride/groom. Occasional hair clips.

People don’t wear them - dated.
