What skincare really works for anti aging?

I have tried everything, a sucker for advertising but yet to find the holy grail, and am considering Botox now if I can’t find something that works.

I'm 46, main concerns are forehead wrinkles, under eye bags/wrinkles/circles and just general droopyness (lost a lot of weight with WLI and fear I may have “ozempic face” although I’m told I don’t) Looking for something which can tighten skin I suppose.

Hit me with your recommendations please. Willing for spend the money if it gets results.

Start with HIFU, which is non-invasive skin tightening. Regular facials, and if you want Botox, try a facial harmonisation expert first who can balance the features without going OTT and changing too much. Baby Botox first - think half the amount of Botox quantity in 3 x the number of injections!

Firstly, congratulations on your weight loss! If you haven’t already, retinal or tretinoin are the main starting point for skin texture and fine lines.
One thing I’d be mindful of is facial volume loss, which can sometimes accompany significant weight loss, esp with medications such as Ozempic. This can be more noticeable around the eyes and temples, so I’d be cautious about going too heavy on botox, as the combination could potentially leave the face looking a little hollow or less youthful. If you have to, go for baby Botox as the PP mentioned.
Have you considered the ‘well nourished wrinkle’ philosophy that is gaining popularity? Rather than trying to erase every line, focus on keeping the skin l plump, hydrated and healthy. Prioritise facials, good hydration alongside rich moisturisers and nourishing skincare. For products, L’Occitane Immortelle creams, Estée Lauder’s targeted anti-wrinkle products and Advanced Night Repair could be worth looking into. I’d also recommend Saie Glowy Super Gel as an everyday base, either on its own or under makeup. It gives the skin a lovely, healthy glow without having to rely on lots of coverage. A hydrated, radiant complexion that embraces a little natural texture can look absolutely beautiful

Good led mask and tretinoin.

Tret, sunscreen, vitamin c serum. That will help with skin tone and fine lines. Laxity is much harder to treat and nothing I’ve seen short of surgery seems to make a huge difference. I’ve heard some positive reviews of the Ziip Halo, but it’s very expensive.

Botox
only had it in my crows feet since around 46 and just put on factor 50 moisturiser and foundation
56 and very happy.
Never needed anything else and love not looking exhausted when I really am.
I go to a good doctor though amd he interviewed me for ages before going ahead. Never pressured me in 10 years for more either .

Tretinoin is absolutely brilliant, my skin has changed so much since using it. It’s brighter and firmer and the finer lines are really fading now. It’s a long game with it but honestly I saw results after the first 3 months, only today somebody commented on how nice
my skin is looking. Go to a reputable place for it and you won’t go wrong. I use Dermatica and find them brilliant but there are other suppliers. It’s a monthly subscription but you can pause or delay it if you don’t use it every night so it works out fairly inexpensive. You
also don’t need to be using loads of other expensive skincare with it, a cleanser and moisturiser and spf. If you do want to try it from Dermatica feel free to use my discount code for a much reduced start at checkout which is 5EW47R
