I’m in my 50’s & a natural blonde. Without mascara, my eyelashes are almost invisible.

I previously used L’Oréal paradise Extatic mascara, which was fabulous- but it’s now been discontinued.

According to the Guardian, the best brown mascara is Maybelline Sky high - I bought it & it’s awful! Really thin & watery.

Please suggest a really good mascara!

I buy Loreal Volume Million Lashes online.

I am not sure if it will work for you but worth trying. My main reason for buying it is because it is brown rather than for any magical properties!

Elf lash extndr

Thanks - I think I’ve tried that one too! Better than the Maybelline one - but have never found anything as good as Extatic.

Benefit do a limited edition brown mascara - badgal bang. Keep your eye out in Aldi as they did a dupe of this for about £5 and it’s so good - I get quite a few comments when I wear it. Love a brown mascara.

I use Rumi Cosmetics Volume Care. It’s really good.

Loreal panorama is my staple. I got a free Loreal telescopic one recently, and I really like it but it's black and I don't know if they do brown.

It’s pricey, but I’ve been using Lancôme Hypnose for years. It’s lovely and creamy and the brown is gentle. Never flakes or smudges.

quite random as I don’t use anything else by them but no7 the full 360 in brown is the best I’ve ever tried - flattering shade, thick long and not clumpy, doesn’t move but then very easy to take off?

It’s maybe a bit runny to begin with but as it ‘ages’ gets perfect then by the time it goes a bit clumpy it’s definitely been around long enough to replace. Like you I’ve tried various maybelline a but don’t work for me.

Thanks for the recommendations, I’m going shopping today & will need to get a new one.

I have a YSL one in brown. It’s called Lash Clash, chunky black tube. It’s good for volume.

Refy have a good one with a bent wand so it combs through and gets every lash. They are online and at Space Nk. Don't know about elsewhere. I love all their stuff.

Agreed, this has been my favourite for years. Occasionally I stray and regret it!
