Best trainers for autumn/winter

I am trying to rebuild my wardrobe after a few years of falling into the pregnancy/new mum leggings and an old jumper trap.

Im size 12, size 6 shoes, average height.

I would like 2 pairs of trainers - £250 total budget (there is some flex) - any advice, please?

I want one pair that work for smart casual but are still fine for walking and wearing in the rain - my commute involved 30 mins walk each way. Ive bought some wide legged navy/black pants and some barrel leg jeans so something that would go with those.

Second pair of trainers would be more casual wear - ones I can wear to the park, walking to the shops etc so might get a little muddy at times. Mostly to wear on weekends/days off with my toddler. Would be wearing with black leggings or barrel leg jeans.

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received as I'm just overwhelmed with the options and feel uncertain as to what trainers go with what legwear.

For the more casual trainers - how about walking shoes - Google Italian brands/makes as these look great and are practical for parks and getting muddy.
