Velcro shoes for adults

I bought myself waterproof, walking shoes a couple of months ago. They were on offer and very comfortable. They are a small size (3.5) and probably intended for older children rather than adults.
Only today I realised they are Velcro shoes. I just didn’t pay attention to that detail somehow when buying and didn't wear them over the summer…
Is that making them inappropriate for an adult? Thanks! (I’ll try to attach a photo)

I wouldn’t wear them front row at fashion week but probably fine for tramping about in the rain

They're...... not what I was expecting, quite okay, really.
Did they do them in a 7? 🤔

How have you only just noticed they're velcro? Did you not try them on when you bought them?

No idea! 😬
I did try them on and was surprised how comfortable they were…

Don’t think so. Haha.
I do often get away with buying shoes from the children’s section but it’s the first time I picked velcro ones!!

#however did you get them on without undoing the lycra?

I like them - fun, comfortable and obviously easy to get on and off!
