Black leather work tote but make it cool

Argh I’m going in circles trying to find a bag for work. I like designer bags but only have small ones. Cant afford more than £250. Dream bag would be Fendi Peekaboo.

Must be real leather, must be totey, must be cool. Happy with vintage but I can’t find anything within budget, looking at Mulberry totes of various hues.

Will have a look on Vestiaire. I don’t like Furla as a brand though, can’t really describe why.

I rate the quality of Massimo Dutti bags

I love Massimo Dutti! I think my problem is that the high st brands I like only really have quite slouchy bags. But I need something more structured for my laptop etc.

That is lovely. But I do actually currently have a brown suede tote. It’s too unstructured though hence seeking something new. I’ve also spilt tea on it several times so can’t be trusted with suede apparently.

They do, lovely quality and usually plenty of pockets, and zipped compartments too. TK Maxx often have them. This isn’t the most exciting one I’ve seen, but it’s the only one I can see online at the moment. Worth looking in store if you have one, though.

I’m not a fan of the DeMellier shape one. Prefer a more classic Bayswater or Kelly belted style - so frustrated that I can’t find a leather dupe of these.

Paul Costello I have a couple of tops from him from TK Maxx and I’m not ideologically opposed but those bags are a bit too boring.

Paul Costello do have less boring ones, though, I’ve got lovely burgundy and navy croc ones in more interesting shapes.

I love this style but have spent hours trawling the web and they’re always badly reviewed and fake leather.
