Finally found a dress that fits perfectly and I’m happy with the style. Next decision, what to wear over it/accessorise it. Registery office followed by small boutique hotel so sleeveless could be an issue. Whistles dress
i am thinking shoes rather than sandals. Not worried about what colour. Shoes up to £100 but would prefer less if possible Thank you!

I’d go red or nude court shoes.
And a duster style overcoat.

I would pick up the cream from the dress for shies as In the photo but go for shoes rather than sandals. I wouldn't try to match the red as it would be very difficult and look bad if it misses.
I think I'd wear either a trenchcoat or a jacket in black overstimulated, depending on the weather kn owi ng that you can go sleeveless indoors

Nice dress, I would actually just go with a black duster/tuxedo jacket & black shoes, maybe a t-bar style. I don’t like cream shoes so wouldn’t buy them for one occasion, red could work but it might be hard to match the colour.

lovely dress! I’d go navy/pink/black shoes and bag

I’d pick caramel/beige suede slingback, something like these:

Or these:

…both light enough to not fight with the dress and its lovely pattern, but not as summery as cream or hard to match as red. For a clutch I’d go with pale gold or dark burgundy.

Agree with the posters above on a trench or duster coat.

I would go for wine or burgundy shoes (try M&S) so you're not matching the red, you are doing for a much deeper tone. And a simple gold envelope clutch (you may pick up one on VInted). A duster coat would be perfect (possibly in wine/burgundy) - would velvet be ok - the texture means the colour is not flat?
