Where to buy merino v-neck jumpers like Uniqlo used to sell before last year, in a choice of colours and at reasonable price?

As the subject says, I would be grateful for recommendations. M&S only have crew necks, everything from JL shrinks. Looking for light jumpers to wear under wool blazer for work. Thank you.

I’ve been buying v-neck merino wool jumpers from M&S men’s dept and just sizing down. Not ideal, but enables me to avoid the terrible colour choices and embellishment that makes their womenswear look so cheap.

Recently I’ve seen some decent fine knit options from Next. Search for The Set items - they offer them singly and in multipacks.

Woolovers always have machine washable merino/ cashmere v necks at a reasonable price ( but more expensive than Uniqlo)

Shame if Uniqlo not do that style any more? Their merino is usually great. They’ll come round again.

Watching with interest. My permanent quest is for a round neck merino very similar to the Uniqlo light merino jumper but with a slightly lower / rounder / boat neck.

They still do v-neck in the men's range. I have a couple of XS men's jumpers from there and I quite like that they are longer on me than the women's ones.

My JL fine knit merino that I’ve just bought is gorgeous. £45. Will see if it washes well!

It is 20% off too, which feels great value. It’s very thin but feels good quality. I have just washed the beige one but have bought the black too. I put it on the wool cycle, inside a net bag, using woolite detergent - hopefully it will come out nicely. I will report back.

I'm on this hunt too. Went to uniqlo last week but was underwhelmed with the offering. The m&s crew merino jumpers are very thin - I bought two last year and the pink one got a hole on wear two, it was a bit crap anyway as it was quite see through. I get so frustrated trailing the shops looking for a nice well fitted quality jumper.

I’m now mostly using this online secondhand shop for smart jumpers to wear for work, they have quite a lot of v-necks but because it’s secondhand sometimes you have to wait for the style and colour you want.

I’m using vinted - I love the v necks and I’m disappointed none of the ususal suspects seem to have them this year. I’m also not a fan of the colours in the merino ranges this year either.

I also have some men’s v necks but the neck isn’t quite right.

I find plenty of Uniqlo merino brand new or nearly do on eBay or Vinted. You can hopefully find the style you liked there.
