If I live another 30 years I won't need to buy anymore...

I've been putting my washing away this evening and realised I have enough lounge jumpers/dressing gown type garments to last even if I live another 30 years 😆 I won't obviously be clearing them out or anything but I'm definitely stocked to last.

Wondering what everybody else has far too many of?

Similar to you- pyjamas & slipper socks. So cosy 🤗

Socks. I spent a depressingly long time pairing up socks for the household. I gave up after 65 pairs. They’re all in a bin bag, the idea being I’d wear them once and throw them away. But every time I think ‘wait, these are still ok’. So I keep them and I know the cycle starts again.

How many is enough for 30 years?

PauliesWalnuts · Yesterday 22:27

Christmas cards. I only send 12 a year. I went on the website of a charity that’s close to my heart to get some and I thought they were priced each so I bought 15. Turns out they were in packs of 10 so now I have 150 cards!

Tops that are stripy, I seem to have a disproportionate number and I just can’t understand why?

I've inherited a couple of sewing baskets and now seem to have hundreds of packets of needles and reels of cotton.

Candle holders. I have so many and so many I’ve never used. I have a couple big ones still in their original boxes that have been through at least two house moves.

T shirts, mostly at least one size too small.

Socks, pants, t shirts and sweaters. Yarn and a fair number of boxes with random craft supplies. DIY tools - half of which I’ve no idea what they are for.
Cleaning cloths, only just finished the supply of sponges DH bought before he dies and that was two and half years ago. Still got j cloths, flat sponges and microfibres thingies to use. For a man that didn’t clean - he bought more than a lifetimes supply!

socks - i seem to have loads at the moment.

Dinner plates. I could service a small restaurant.

ETA: Ha ha just realised it's S&B - in which case Monsoon dresses. I probably have more than Monsoon themselves. They just work for me.
