Purple party dress needed!

I need to buy a dress for a friend's milestone birthday party in a few weeks, but I so very rarely buy dresses that I would dearly love some suggestions! To fit the party theme, it needs to be purple, neither too formal (so not a ball gown or wedding guest style) nor too casual (definitely a party dress). I need a size 16 to fit my oversized bust, don't mind showing my legs and have an ok waist but carry my weight on my bust and belly. Wrapover styles don't suit me at all. Shape-wise, I tend to suit A-line and tunic styles more, or the kind of dresses Apache used to do. Ideally, I'd like to keep it under £150. Your help would be gratefully received!

ETA: I need to be able to dance in it!

I should also have said that I'm 5'3" and specifically plus-sized brands usually don't work for me as they tend to be cut wider from below the armpits, which cater for my bust but otherwise make me look barrel shaped and much bigger than I am in the body.

Hm, your friend has thrown out quite the challenge with the purple theme - there is very little of it in shops. Vinted might be your best bet.

@SquidgyPudge Thanks - I will check out Roman! I like the second dress you suggested, but I'm not sure the twist front would work with my giant bust. I'm a very annoying shape for dresses, hence why I so rarely wear them!
