Hairdryer and products for 10yr old

My DD has extremely fine and very (very) slow growing hair. We’ve never had to dry it after nighttime bathing as it always ended up dry by the time finished reading books, etc. It isn’t drying as quickly anymore and over the summer she went to bed with it damp but it’s colder now so we need start drying.

Any recommendations? Something light, fast and easy for her to start trying solo. Hair is still fine and shoulder length. Something girlie colours would be good too as she’s still quite a young 10.

Similarly any recommendations for products? She uses an all-in-one wash shampoo for toddlers currently (as has very sensitive skin!) but might be nice to get her actual shampoo and conditioner but not sure what is safer for her skin and fine hair?

TIA

How much did you want to spend? Hair dryers range from £20-£200.
always dry her hair. When hair is wet, it’s at its most brittle. So always dry it, especially before bed.

I got my Dd an Elle hairdryer from b&m, a couple of years ago. It is pink. Still works fine, was very inexpensive. I agree she should get in to the habit of drying her hair every time if possible as it is better for the scalp as well. Maybe get a heat protection spray as well as conditioner?

I read about them he wet hair thing recently 🫣 felt guilty. I never bother with mine I just washing mornings and wfh so let dry naturally.

I'm happy to spend maybr up to £50 as imagine she’s have own ideas once later teen years hit so might want different products. The Elle ones sounds good I’ll have a look in b&m. Jusg looking for some brands to keep eye out for. Same for the shampoos etc as has quite sensitive skin.

For hairdryers you don’t need anything fancy just make sure it has a cooler setting as you don’t want too much heat.

Give Me cosmetics is great. I bought all 3 of my DDs sets last year and it’s now their go to shampoo/conditioner. The purple set is popular with my teen dd who has greasy roots and fine her. I bought the yellow set for my youngest and it’s really thickened her hair. I don’t use the extra volume sing products for her hair as she dosnt need them.
