I would like to keep some hair ideally as appealing as shaving it off is, I have wonky ears...

I don't do hair dryers or straighteners or anything plug related unless I am being forced!

sympathies, I have kinky hair too. Only one and only on one side (grr)

Def go for some layers though,, so you don;t have to tie it back the whole time. Also, you can get away with a lot with that face shape (mine is oblong with big square chin, much less leeway)

I have layers (just above shoulder length) and don;t style. It seems to work, as long as the layers aren't soo short, otherwise they stick out.

have a gwen (from torchwood) I really like that style

I've done a gwen type thing before, but the way my hair curls, it seems to make me look like I have a helmet on a mullet

I am leaning towards chin lengthish layered bob with the long sweepy fringe. And possibly dying it pink.

flame, have youthought of having it chemically straightened? then youcan leave it open all the time, having simply run a comb through it. and it will look fab and glossy
