Bra recommendations for wide-set breasts and a deep rib cage

I'm looking for bra advice. I have very wide set breasts so to get a supportive bra the cup size is always gaping at the front and basically too big. I am also wide backed and have a deep rib cage. Has anyone else been able to find a comfortable solution? ( Probably expecting too much!)

Victoria’s Secret.

I swore by the gorgeous range in Debenhams until they were discontinued (I bought about 40 when it all was happening so I had a good supply for years) but now I’ve lost weight I had to get new ones and none would fit, boobs ended up looking weird and pointy or in the wrong place. Until I found Victoria’s Secret, and now I would never ever ever get anything else. They’re super supportive and hold everything in very securely, and comfy.

I liked that I could use the machine in the fitting room to get them to bring me different sizes and styles so I didn’t have to keep sending my husband rummaging amongst the bras or redress each time.

Interesting. I used to get on with Elle MacPherson's range, which slowly disappeared. I occasionally find one that fits, but am mostly having to stick the fillets from stretch bra-tops down the sides of my bra cups to push my boobs into the expected position!

Which models would you recommend, @Boreded?

I would go to Bravissimo for a fitting; they will bring you several styles to try one. I’ve found them excellent over the years. I wear a minimiser bra sometimes and they tend to pull mine together, so that might be an option?

What sort of size range?
A front fastening plunge style would be ideal from your description.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have tried Bravissimo in the past but nothing was comfortable.
Will look into the other suggestions.
I will have to bite the bullet and do online orders as the only place in our town that does bra fitting is M&S.
I find non wired or bralette styles are comfortable but not supportive.

Sorry I didn't reply about size. This is part of the issue as according to the guidance I am a 36D but this is far too tight on the band and the cups dig in on the sides. Currently wearing 38 D which doesn't dig in but gapes.

You probably need a side support bra with a smaller cup - there is a lot of advice on the fantasie website and they will also do a fitting over zoom which might help? https://www.fantasie.com/uk/en/advice/

I've bought online from Amplebosom for years. They have lots of different makes. They'd possibly advise you if you emailed.

Thanks everyone - some good ideas to try
