Hair can I have toner??

I normally have a balayage when I go to the hairdresser. Trying to go longer between appointments but really need a cut. Do you think I could just add a toner onto the appointment too? Rather than a colour. I know a toner doesn’t last as long but would just make it look a bit nicer for a bit

Yes you can do that. I tend to tone myself as I find it helps eke out the time between the next hairdresser appointment.

@Franxiooh thank you. Didn’t know you could get it yourself? Where do you buy from?

I buy it from Amazon. I use Wella Illumina.

Yes, you can certainly do this. My hairdresser recommends it for my hair.
I get equal amounts of highlights and lowlights with a toner for one in four appointments then the three in-between (every 6weeks) I just get a toner cut and blow dry.
The toner refreshes the colour and is not as harsh on my fine hair, it's even good at disguising my grey too.

@Thisisthedreamthank you. That’s exactly what I want to do.
