Curly Hair Hairdryer recommendations please.

As the title really. I have fine curly hair, I never wear straight.

My old hairdryer/diffuser bought in Sainsbury's 15 years ago have given up the ghost so I need a replacement.

I want something that will last. Will never use without a diffuser. I hated my diffuser as it increasingly fell off if a spider walked across someone's bath, somewhere in the world.

Something that will not fry my hair? But something fairly fast to dry my hair.

Any recommendations gratefully received. And things to avoid.

Easyish on budget...but not sure if I want to spend eg ££££ on a Dyson unless I can be convinced it is the second coming...that will last.

I have googled/AI'd...but it just tells me every brand I ask about it amazing.. so it has just confused me

I have got a Dyson but I bought it one Black Friday from Dyson refurbished on eBay for about half price, it was meant to be refurbished but they sent me a brand new one instead. The diffuser on these is magnetic so doesn't drop off, I wouldn't pay full price for one.

I have an old Babyliss. The diffuser screws on and doesn't fall off.
Without a diffuser, I let my wavy hair air-dry because it turns into a haystack.

Is it worth extra for the fancy "fast" ones?

Another vote for a refurbished Dyson - I’ve got shortish, fine hair and I only realised how quick the Dyson was when I tried using a normal dryer plus diffuser.

I have a parlux + diffuser. Have had it over 10 years and it’s perfect still. Better than a Dyson I think. I’ve got thick low porosity hair which takes ages to dry.
