What am I taking to Italy?

I am going to Italy (Almafi coast) for 3 nights mid October. Itinery is mainly exploring coastal towns and a boat trip. We only have an underseat bag each and a cabin bag to share between 3.
What are your must haves? ChatGPT says temps of 20ish during the day and 12-16 in the evening.

One cabin bag between 3????? Bloody hell, on a tight budget?

Just spent 3 nights in Lake Como for first trip to Italy. Clothes wise most things go but in the evenings the Italian ladies in their linen trousers, tops and little jackets all looked particularly stunning and stylish!
I wore midi Jersey dresses in the evenings which were easy to roll up and pack in a small bag.
The most important thing is footwear! I took 1 x trainers and 2 x sandals but with the cobbled streets, hilly walks and ferry trips I didn’t venture out of my trainers!
Have a wonderful trip 🇮🇹

I love here and I'm in jeans and t-shirt with a coat at night. Not a big jacket but a denim or light jacket and I'd bring a thin scarf as well. In the day it's warm and at night it's chilly. Long thin pyjamas

You can get some really big underseat bags I think too

For 3 nights You’ll be fine if you max out the size of your underseat bag (ie don’t just take your little handbag!). You will need a layer especially for the boat trip. I’d take a light waterproof to cover that, plus a cardi and a jumper - you’ll be surprised how chilly it gets. 1 pair of shoes to wear all the time. Jeans, 3 tops and a nice dress for the evenings if that’s your thing. For 4 days you don’t need much. Wear your bulkiest stuff on the plane and pack small for your toiletries. Have an amazing time! I love Italy.

I did an under seat bag for four nights in Porto in similar temperatures last year. (it was one of those Kipling duffle bags that a are like a tardis but are squashy.

I wore jeans, trainers, t shirt, a boxy knitted cotton jacket style cardie from Uniqlo (a great travel buy as the boxy jacket style fit makes it a bit smarter than normal cardies and it is a good coat substitute in autumn/spring weather) and a waterproof jacket on the plane - and then took

4 x t shirts for the day
2x nice evening tops
1x blouse
1x jersey dress
1x light cotton jumper
an extra pair of jeans
a pair of sliver leather superga pumps
enough underwear, socks and tights for fours days
small toiletry bag

Just come back from Lake Garda, everyone was in trainers of various guises day and night.
Definitely take a scarf or wrap.
A jacket for evenings, it cooled down once the sun went down.
I wore longer length denim shorts most days, with a vest and open shirt over.
The shopping is good, so buy something out there too!
Our hotel had a great little wall mounted fold away airer on the balcony, so you can wash bits, they dried easily.
