Autumn Wedding Evening Guest Attire?

DP’s ex is getting married soon, it’s amicable and I’m very happy for them. They’ve kindly invited us to attend for the evening before leaving with DSD.

As we’re only attending for a couple of hours I’d rather not look too overdressed but would still like to make an effort.

I’m mid 20s, size 8. I suit shades of green & blue. Would like to avoid anything low cut or short. I have a couple of black jersey style dresses but not sure if black is wedding appropriate?

Thanks

Budget wise I was looking for under £100. I’ve chosen a dress now. Thank you

Nope, just curious about your intentions!
Ex getting married and you have 2 posts about what you should wear .

Well I’d not want to attend so it would be a brief in and out from me.

do you have anything in your wardrobe already you can consider? I’ve got a short long sleeved green dress that I just usually wear over leggings casually at home. But it would look much nicer with decent tights shoes and a clutch bag.

There’s another wedding thread mother of the groom. I’ve posted a link in there to a pretty green dress from oasis. It might suit.

What height are you? Size alone is pretty meaningless
