If you wear cluster lashes how to you remove all the residue?

I’ve started wearing them and love how they look, I’ve bought the remover and they came off fine.

However my lashes and lids still felt sticky and a bit gunky. I tried cleansing, lash foam etc and now they’re finally clean but feeling sore from all the washing and wiping. There must be an easier way..

I was hoping to put some on again but it’s put me off.

Can you use less glue? This has never happened to me. It should be tiny dots.
