What’s everyone wearing to weddings these days?

I am in my mid 50s 16-18 in dresses don’t have a clue what to wear.

The last wedding I went to was decades ago and a standard church and hall sort of one. We’ve been invited to two, ones a posh one. One in spring one in autumn.

Following as I've a wedding in May and am clueless.
Where I live people seem to be much "dressier" than some other areas but I resent shelling out for a fancy outfit I won't wear again.

Same here. I need clothes I can use again.
