Are 'walk ins' at hairdressers still a thing?

Really want my haircut before a last min invite but only have tomorrow morning to have it done. Are walk ins still a thing? Would I look like a tit if I went in a few salons to ask if they could squeeze me in then and there?

Look on their websites, some do walk ins still but not all. Generally ones in towns / cities where there is more passing traffic.

Around here, you're better off walking in to most salons because your appointment won't be at the right time, anyway. What it will be mostly about is how many people are in front of you the moment you arrive, appointment or not

My local salon will see someone who just calls in, as long as it's not one of their super busy times like a Friday afternoon.

They also do online booking via Treatwell, which might be an option in your local area too.

Why don’t you just call them up now and see if they have a space for tomorrow morning? I think you’d have a better chance of getting something that way.

Do you have a Supercuts near you? I believe they are mostly walk in but arrive early so you aren't sat waiting for hours. Others around here are appointments only.

There is a store called easy barber. They do ladies haircuts too. Just go in no appointments needed
