Klaxon for the mid-rise jean Queens! Can you help?

Okay so you were all great when I was looking for relaxed denim shorts in the summer can you help here?

I want some jeans that are loose and floppy to wear with trainers and a sweatshirt midrise medium blue. Not bloody carrot or barrel or anything like those because my thighs are thin and those just make me look about size 3000.

just come up kinda like Palazzo pants but denim. No drawstrings no stripes down the side no elasticated waste just normal jeans.

I’ve been looking for jeans and there are millions of blue mid rise jeans out there - look on M&S, or John Lewis or Next and set your filters to mid rise, blue and whatever cut you’re looking for - straight, bootcut, flare, wide leg etc. If you’re flush and quite slim, Levi’s have some great mid-rise styles.

I’m not sure what you’re asking for - Palazzos are a wide leg but you want to show your thigh size? So do you want a wide like Palazzo leg or more a bootcut that is slim and then goes out again?

I am not thin of thigh (oh how I wish!) but got a pair of straight leg, mid rise, £16 jeans in Sainsbury's last week and they are amongst the most flattering I have ever owned.

I just don’t understand why they label jeans mid rise but they are clearly high rise - Next and M & S are both guilty of this, they should give measurements from crotch to waistband, that would be really helpful.

I'm short waisted and look for low or midrise and it's getting harder to find real midrise even levis have started making them higher. Arket do good mid.

Thanks @Jintx I’m looking at the Arket ones as they sell them on ASOS, so will definitely give them a go - do you think they’re true to size? I’m trying to decipher the sizing as it’s European!

I wear 27/28 levis and 28 inch arket which is written in the jeans. I think it's 38 European size. I'm also not very hippy and arket is straight cut on the hip as well so I don't get a baggy bum.

I think they are generous and they do give a bit during wear, but shrink back down when washed x
