Any procedures under £500 that actually help with saggy face?

Early 40s and significant weightloss (not ozempic btw)

Feeling quite saggy around the mouth/jowls.

Am scared of filler (also have autoimmune issues so not sure if I would get along with a foreign body injection)

Always said I wouldn't get anything done but feeling increasingly fed up with the mirror.

Well fillers are then least invasive,but if you don’t want injectibles then it’s a face lift and you won’t get thay for 500

No. Im in a similar position and Im going to Lithania for a full facelift. Ive saved up for two years.

They can make some improvements with Botox around jowls and jawline but it depends on definition of ‘quite saggy’. I lost half my body weight after being obese from age 11 to 42 and once I hit goal weight I decided I’d spent my whole life hating how I looked so fuck it I was getting Botox for my 11 lines and eye crinkles because I wanted a few wrinkle free thin years now I was finally healthy weight for the first time ever as an adult.

Because people say 'ozempic face' is a thing. Rapid weightloss due to jabs results in a distinctive saggy face, so I was pointing out that its not a case of that.

Someone I know has had a full facelift and I don't like it personally. You can tell shes had one.

I don't want to look stretched, just a bit more like myself a few years ago.

I'm not against fillers but I just don't tend to have good reactions to things like piercings/tattoos and scars don't heal well. I've read about some people with autoimmune issues having serious side effects so am wary.

"Ozempic face" isn't a thing though. It's just "rapid weight loss face" - makes absolutely no difference how you lost it!

There is a peculiar tendency, particularly on this website, to look down on people using WLI as somehow "cheating", as if suffering hunger is the main goal and having a healthy (or healthier) body is just an undeserved reward for those "cheating".

Anyway as to your question, if your skin has lost elasticity and the skin is literally sagging, nothing except surgery is going to provide a long term fix. You can have fillers, which might not work well for your body with an auto immune condition. There are various short term remedies which can tighten skin temporarily, but only a face and/or jawline lift is going to get rid of that excess skin.

You're mistaken, I think WLIs are wonderful and I tried them myself.
Several people in my family have had their lives revolutionised by them.

I was simply pointing out that my weightloss was significant (over 100lbs) but itvwas over years. So its not the rapid weightloss situation but because It was so much its obviously a factor.

i imagine the Op included the statement about it not being from WLI because people will always rush into smugly point out that this is a downside of WLI and one of the reasons they’d never take it.
Fair enough, I’ve been taking it for about 2 years now and did get what I thought was ozempic face for a bit but my fat has sort of redistributed or something and everything has settled and now I look quite nice again 😂
I can tell when I need to add in more food though, it’s easy for me to look a big haggard.
Op I’ve avoided any tweakments tbh, I’m not keen on filler etc even though it’s probably something that could add something positive aesthetically, I don’t really see my face so it’s not my problem!
I have facials because I love being pampered but besides making my skin feel refreshed it doesn’t technically do anything.

Op I’m guessing you’re in the USA. In the uk ozempic is just for diabetes. The drugs don’t cause rapid weight loss. That is diet. It’s just a weird segway, I don’t think anyone would have assumed your face sagged as you lost weight “rapidly”.

hisu facials take time and may or may not work for ypu personally, but yes it would maybe be your only option

i had fillers into my nasolabial folds and marionette lines, I also lost weight . The results are unbelievably good.my face looks fuller and my jaw line tightand its knocked years off.they are made with hyralonic acid now, you produce that naturally and if you’ve a good practioner, they do it in such a way they simply restore lost volume and tighten.

Then surely you’d know the drugs are wegovy or mounjaro and now the tablets, you can’t get ozempic for weight loss in the uk.

What is HA serum?

I’ve had 3 sessions of Dermapen which is quite a strong microneedling treatment- it was £460 and I had them 6 weeks apart.

I have seen a bit of an improvement so would recommend, results are supposed to last a year..

Worth a go also might be face yoga or one of the electronic devices.

A facelift is a bit drastic in my opinion!

If your face has changed due to weight loss it might settle down and improve over time. Facial exercises? Elec mask thingy?
I would think you're too young for a face lift anyway! For older women I would think a lower face lift is enough to tighten your jawline, smooth out the tell tale signs of aging but that costs thousands.
