I’m a 36E and struggling to find a sports bra that supports and stops the girls bouncing about 🤣

any recommendations? 🩷

Can I ask how you are measuring? If the band isn’t tight enough, there won’t be enough support.

I’m 34GG and swear by Enell. They take a while to get used to because they FLATTEN, but honestly those girls go nowhere.

Panache

Freya Active Dynamic sports bra.
I’m 38G, it holds everything in place for running and Hyrox.

I don't have a recommendation but I was told by a fitter that the only effective options are flattening or scaffolding. Once I got my head round that it made it much easier to finf something appropriate.

I have two from Shock Absorber. The first is so old I can’t remember how long I’ve had it; possibly since before I had my child, who’s now rising 16. They’re brilliant because they are incredibly supportive without being horrendously uncomfortable. Last time I measured I was a 34F.

another vote for Panache Sports, wired and unwired.

I had a great Shock Absorber one in the past too but grew out of it after a second round of breast feeding. My current one was an M and S one that zips up the front. I wasn't expecting massive things but it's been brilliant. Genuinely really supportive without making me feel I can't breathe and it was only about 30 quid. Can happily boing around at Zumba without a second thought or any movement.

I third or fourth panache.

Will also add: you need one that fastens, not one that pulls over your head - those are for small boobs. A pull over will either be shit support or scientifically impossible to put on!

I have both Panache and Freya. I find the Freya holds a lot better for running. The underwires have moved in the Panache ones, which is annoying, but the Freyas have lasted well. I also have swimwear from Freya, much more comfortable on the beach.

i also have a Decathlon running bra which has lasted (more than Nike etc.) and keeps them in their place, but it’s not quite so comfortable on. I also had a shock absorber but found it didn’t really reduce bounce and the elastic gave way quite quickly. It was a while ago though and I’ve never been back, so they may be better now.

I went to John Lewis and got fitted into a 34E. Shock Absorber and Panache.
I've since tried on more Panache and Freya and can't find any that fit as well, which is a shame as the elastic band went on both Shock Absorbers in the same place.

I've got the zip up M&S Good Move as well, which feels much lighter and less structured and so follows the strap 'em down law rather than the bolster them up one.

Panache are the only brand I have found that offer enough support and don’t get scratchy after a few washes.
