Thinking of getting lip blush this autumn, any experiences or advice?

I’m planning to get a lip blush this autumn. Has anyone had it done? It would be great to know your experiences and tips on how to choose a good PMA, preparation, recovery etc.

Also, if anyone knows a decent permanent makeup artist in London/Surrey, please do slide into my DMs.

Is this a rebrand of lip tattooing? Not that I’m against that, I’ve just never heard the term before.

Basically yes, although it’s supposed to be sheer and natural looking unlike the dreadful lip tattoos of old. That’s the theory anyway. I would love to know what actual results people have got.

I had it done about 2 years ago. I hate wearing lipstick but every time I walked past a mirror I thought I would look better if I had it on. I still have pigment left and will definitely do it again when its faded. I actually took a lipstick colour to match it to.

I also dislike wearing lipstick… usually just wear a tinted lip balm but I find I am constantly re-applying, and without my tinted lip balm my lips tend to just fade into my face so…

I had a few years ago, it looked good but faded quickly. It is a natural colour like a tint, nothing like full lipstick (for anyone who doesn't know). I would have it again but am put off by the quick-fading vs the cost. Instead I use Wonderblade lip tint, the one that goes on blue then you wipe it off. Very similar effect and it lasts ages.
