When does M&S usually run 20% off womenswear Sparks offers?

I'm in need of a few workwear items, and I've got an M&S gift card to use, does anyone know typically when they do the 20% off womenswear offers via Sparks?

They seem to have changed the way sparks works - its a bit crap now, you have to spend the money and then you get some back depending on what offers are on. I never seem to be spending enough or at the right time to get anything, so I've pretty much stopped looking at sparks. Presumably this is cheaper for them, although it must work for some people.

Yes it's changed, it's much better now because you get money back for every day spending instead of short windows of discounts for specific things that you keep missing.

I don’t like the new way. I get offers on things like biscuits and ready meals which I would never buy 😬 I used to buy lots of clothes using the 20% discount! There is a sale on at the mo though. Maybe it will help x

Mine are mostly on food but that's fine because I work very close to one of the big food halls, whereas I only buy clothes there a couple of times a year.

I don’t like the new system either . You no longer get 20% off any amount , so the saving is capped,
Ive currently got £4 saving on a £20 lingerie spend , but if I spend £40 I still only get £4 if that makes
sense . I definitely spend less as a result

Just in case there’s anything of interest, I had an email this morning to say M&S up to 50% off sale has started today .

I had a one transaction only 20% off clothing offer, min spend of £50. I used it weekend before last with a friend.

How strange…….The 20% off has landed in my Sparks account this morning!!! It’s on for 5 days only …..

I used to like the 20% off events. I was probably one of their best customers, but I hardly buy clothes there now! I don’t like all these short tops and jumpers. They look nice on young girls, but imo it’s a way of saving money and I don’t like it at my age. It just looks like the clothes have shrunk in the wash!

I’ve stopped using Sparks. I always seem to get offers on food, when I hardly ever buy food from there!

Previously you would get 20% of things and you could spend what you saved in other shops or just save it. Now you might get money back but you have to spend it in M&S so they get more of your money.

There was never any rhyme or reason to the 20% off - I spend far more in M and S than DH and he would get offered 20% and I wouldn’t! I could never understand the system. TBH it’s never been a great system and still isn’t despite a relatively recent overhaul.

I’m off to have a nosey later. Bet I don’t see anything now I’ve finally got the ruddy discount!!

I wonder if it’s single use , I’ve just placed an order and it’s now disappeared from my sparks offers , that’s annoying as when i collect my order I would have had a look around and no doubt bought something else in store , but if no 20% then I won’t ( on principle ) lol . Shame as hoped it would be unlimited for 5 days .

Yup I got it too, just used it before I lose it. Very short window. I also bought a jumper with 50% off in the sale
