What to wear with this blazer for the office?

Hi all,

Looking for some advice on work clothes please. I've not bought anything new for a while and feeling a bit lost!

I have this blazer from Next which I wear sometimes with jeans and a t-shirt style top into the office. I tend to wear smart-ish trainers too (casual office).

I'm looking for a new job and would like some options to wear with it for job interviews. I'd still like to feel comfortable but something that looks smart and put together.

I was hoping for some recommendations for flat shoes, trousers and tops/blouses please. Ideally all 3 that would suit the blazer but still look smart enough when I take it off.

Thanks!

Trousers of your chosen fit (medium wide would work for an interview) with plain silk type fabric top, basically a posh t shirt! You could add a scarf too for colour if the situation feels like it needs more quirkiness, scarves are great for that because you can remove if everyone else is very plain suited

What height & size are you OP, & what's your colouring? What colours do you like/suit wearing, & would you consider patterns as well as plains?

Is your budget along the lines of Next prices, or can you go a bit higher?

Are you looking for two or three tops/blouses, ditto with trousers & shoes?

As the way to get most options out of them is to buy from a limited colour range that all works together. That way you'll multiply the number of outfits, if each top can be worn with each pair of trousers & shoes?

Thank you! Scarf is a good idea, I'll look into that - thanks!

I'm 5'4" ish, brunette and size 10-12. I'm bigger on top (boobs!) and have a bit of a mum tum. Reasonably athletic build from the legs down 😅

I tend to wear navy as the main colour (blue or black trousers) but open to suggestions! I am open to patterns too, could probably do with mixing it up a bit.

Budget is reasonably flexible, can go above Next prices but not super high prices.

Buying things that all work together would be perfect. I don't spend loads of time on my clothes so would be nice to be able to look nice without too much effort, and will help with choosing things in the future too.

I don't have any suggestions, sorry, but I really love that Next blazer - good choice!
