Seeking experiences of dental implants abroad in Croatia, Poland or Bulgaria

Im looking for advise recommendations for getting tooth implants abroad.
I need 3 or 4 extractions, and 4 or 5 implants. Ideally with general anaesthetic or sedation.

(Before anyone bashes me-I simply cant afford it in this country, im having to get a loan for the dental work)

Ive been doing alot of research and Croatia, Poland and Bulgaria all comply with EU guidelines which to me is a safer bet so I ideally would like to go there.

Has anyone had this done in said countries? Id be grateful for honest experiences

Go here
Hove Dental Clinic
Prices are very transparent, very cheap and it's in the UK, even if you live in Scotland its better than going abroad.
I've had several implants done here and it's fantastic.
Prices are extremely reasonable and transparent and all listed on the site.

I live in Somerset and it's worth the 4 to 5 hour drive.

That is half the price my dentist has quoted. How come they are so much cheaper I wonder?

Its their ethics. They do loads of charity work amd they want to provide a reasonably priced service for normal people. I have 4 implants from there which cost me around a grand each. The oldest one is 20 years old and still going strong. Its a very clean, fully equipped clinic with head MRI and everything.
The trouble with going abroad is how do they do it in one session? You have to have the tooth out, then wait three months for gum healing, then have the implant put in and wait 3 months for further healing and then finally go back for your crown fitting. It takes time to have a fully competent implant done otherwise it wont be stable enough to last for years.

I now have enough to put a full set of dentures on 4 implants if thats required in the future. I am 65.
How many teeth do you need doing?
Bruno de Silva is the best implant specialist there. I always ask for him.

P.s Im off to eastern europe for a facelift shortly. Eastern europe is the best. I wouldnt touch turkey for my teeth or face with a 10 foot barge pole. Ive heard some awful horror stories.
Dental implants in eastern europe are around the £5-6 hundred pound mark but once you factor in flights, hotels, possibly repeat visits for your gums to settle etc you've spent more than if you just went to Brighton.

Watching with interest.

I’m with Dr Bruno de Silva too, after seeing a recommendation here. I live about an hour away, went to see clinics local to me and they were two or three times the price.
he is fantastic, really guides you to the best treatment and listens!

Thankyou so much. Ive just sent them an email. Im hoping one of the surgeries offer sedation because I am petrified! Lol. Im due to have 3 teeth out in Essex on Monday-im wondering whether to cancel it until ive spoken to them.
Thanks so much, its nuce to get advice from someone who has had work done from somewhere they recommend x

Yes they do sedation. I never bother as its not painful at all. The only thing that happened once was I asked for more anaesthetic and my eyeballs froze . I had to drive home unblinking. So I didn't do that again lol.😂

Gettingbysomehow · 17/09/2026 18:03

They usually prefer to take the teeth out themselves and do an MRI which costs about £100 I think. Their extractions are also much much cheaper.
