Warm but wet city break

Ten days out, but forecast for an upcoming European city break is suggesting a fair chance of (heavy) rain alongside mid-upper twenties temps.

It will be as it will be - I’m not worrying it will
ruin the trip or anything - but wondering if anyone had any bright ideas for dressing to suit this. I’d like to be reasonably stylish, but not soggy after downpours (floaty linen I think will be a bad idea).

I’m doing the same in the last week of September so I’m thinking straight leg and barrel leg jeans for day with t shirts in white, cream and burgundy and this navy hooded peplum parker from M & S or a cropped trench or reversible trench (checked on inside so quite versatile) but they don’t have a hood.
Tan leather trainers and cross body bag.
I’ll take a cream blazer for evening, with camis and silky blouses, with black leather trousers, black barrel trousers, black satin balloon trousers and black ballet flats.
Burgundy cross body bag with gold chain and gold jewellery.
Small umbrella that fits in handbag and I’ve also got a fold up waterproof kagool type thing from Primark for £2.50!!!
I’m really still open to ideas though.

I like the sound of those outfits (trying to resist temptation to go and look at the navy jacket!)

I am undecided between jeans and linen trousers. The temperatures are right on the cusp. It’s that slightly frustrating middle ground, and I’m also travelling with a couple of friends who are very much of the “tough it out” persuasion so whatever we wear, will need to last a whole day.

I think I’ve settled on walking sandals rather than trainers, on the basis that my feet will dry out quicker in them than trainers!!
